Established in 1950, Physiotherapy New Zealand is a vital, stable, effective organisation providing advocacy, education, information and services.

In March 2013 Physiotherapy New Zealand launched a new site to celebrate 100 years of physiotherapy in New Zealand

Our structure

As a professional membership organization representing New Zealand physiotherapists we have many different levels of structure including our National Executive team, Tae Ora Tinana, National office team, Special Interest Groups and our regional branches.

What we do

Physiotherapy New Zealand is the national membership organisation for physiotherapists and physiotherapy students. Every year we provide over 3,000 members with advocacy, education, information and services.
